By sin, the human race severed its relationship God. We were
helpless, lost and salvation was impossible. But love always reaches out to a
need. And God responded to our need by giving us the greatest gift possible,
the gift of Himself in the person of Jesus.
This is the greatest compassion
that his son might redeem us, Jesus love is so immense that He willingly laid
down His life for us. Salvation is God’s gift to us. We merit it. We cannot
earn it. It is not rewarded but a gift. Prophet Daniel in his vision shares the
same foreseeable story with the book of revelation ‘one who will receive
dominion, Glory and kinship’. He is the Alpha and Omega.
Jesus humbly took to
the least of all, not holding power or property, and with profound humility He
testified the truth. My God and my all, you made me and control all things in
my daily life. How can I forget about this truth and complain about anything? Grant
me the Holy dispensation to receive your son Jesus. Make me equally willing to
receive from your hand the sweet and the bitter, the joy and the sorrow.
Only
keep me from sin and I shall fear neither death nor hell. As long as you do not
separate me from you forever, nor blot me out of the book of life. Grant me the
Grace to see Love, and prefer your will in everything that happens to me today.
Amen
