LORD’S COMING

Jesus 2nd Coming
The Bible addresses the “coming of our Lord JESUS” as a time of tribulations of the flesh. It is those moments when human race is faced with rebellion, lawlessness and persecution. Wherefore, a man shall leave his father and mother and cleave to his wife and they shall two in one flesh. This will be the time when human kind will be strangers in many ways.

Mr Banda (not the real name) once got off his wedding ring and vowed never to put it on again simply because he did not see the importance. Banda’s family life has not changed for better since their union, and with the constant querells, his wedding ring would give a physical sense of belonging that does warrant its status.

Christians should follow Peter’s instructions to repent off their sins, live lives of holiness and Godliness. Marriage is about sacrifice and spiritual growth, but you marry for better or worse, therefore if through no fault of yours, your married life is unhappy one or if you find God’s laws hard to obeserve, ask God for the strength to do His will and courage to carry your cross.

Think how often you have done good deeds with selfish motives, too many times you do things for Jesus but with the selfish reasons. Jesus was completely unselfish in his self sacrifice for me. I should never rest content until I have succeeded in serving Him. No matter what I may do for Him, whatever it may cost me, he deserves that and many more. I owe Him my loyalty even when loyalty is difficult and disaggreable to me.
That we may remain zealous and at peace and wait for the Lord’s coming with forebearance and joy, he will immediately repay every man for what he has done.
